Mentha Arvensis / Japanese Cornmint Oil / Crude peppermint Oil / Shivalik:


Mentha Arvensis is considered the mother of mint oils producing several other products and components. The oil is obtained from by the steam distillation of the fresh parts of the flowering plant mentha arvensis, a rather fragile herb with leafy stems growing up to 2 feet high, with lance - shaped leaves and lilac coloures. Of these, the major volume is constituted by Menthol, DMO, other isolates and terpenes.


Mentha Piperita

The oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the fresh ground parts of the flowering plant mentha piperita, a perennial herb growing upto 3 feet high, with underground runners, by which it is easily propagated. The standard specification of the oil has L. Menthol ranging from 30 % to 50 %

Spearmint

Apart from the medicinal applications, Spearmint is widely valued world - wide as a culinary herb. The oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the fresh ground parts of the plant mentha spicata, a hardy branched perennial herb, with bright green lance - shaped leaves, quickly spreading underground runners and pink or lilac coloured flowers.

Mentha Citrata

The oil is obtained by the steam distillation of the fresh ground parts of the plant mentha citrata.
